Banana Split Trifle

 
 
Ingredients:

1 box white cake mix, plus ingredients on the box

2 packages instant banana pudding, plus milk required on the boxes

3 large bananas, sliced

1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced

one 6 Oz. can crushed pineapple, drained

8 ounces Cool Whip, thawed

1 jar maraschino cherries, diced

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

1/2 cup dark chocolate syrup
Directions:

Pre-heat your oven per cake package directions

Bake the cake and cool completely before assembling the dessert.

Cut the cake into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the pudding mix.

In a large bowl break up cake into bite-size pieces.

Use half of the cake for the first layer for the trifle.

Top the cake pieces with 1/2 of the pudding, 1/2 bananas, 1/2 strawberries, 1/2 pineapple, 1/2 Cool Whip, 1/2 Maraschino cherries, 1/2 chocolate syrup and top with 1/2 of the nuts.

Repeat the steps with the remaining ingredients.

Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy!
