Mississippi Pepperoncini Roast

 
 
Ingredients:

For the Roast

one (3 Lb.) chuck roast

1 tablespoon of your favorite Steak House seasoning

one (25.5 Oz.) jar Pepperoncini peppers, including juices

Optional Ingredients for Gravy

1 1/2 teaspoons of your favorite ranch seasoning mix

1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions:

For the Roast

Put chuck roast into a slow cooker.

Add Steak House Seasoning and Ranch Seasoning to roast and pour in peppers with juices.

Set timer and cook on low setting for 8 hours.

To serve, shred the beef using two forks and serve with peppers.

Optional Ingredients for Gravy

To make a gravy, once the roast has been shredded, ladle out one cup of the juices from the slow cooker.

Pour the juices into a medium bowl.

Whisk in the cornstarch until the liquid is smooth and forms a slurry.

Stir the mixture back into the juices in the slow cooker. Enjoy!
