Strawberry and Chocolate Fool

An easy dessert with fresh strawberries and chopped chocolate.

An easy dessert with fresh strawberries and chopped chocolate.
Ingredients:
2 Oz. chocolate , finely chopped
2 cups strawberries, sliced
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
A pinch of fine sea salt
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream

2 cups strawberries, sliced

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Place 3/4 cup of strawberries in a bowl.
Add sugar, vanilla extract and pinch of salt.
Use a fork to mash the berries and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Whip heavy whipping cream to stiff peaks with a stand mixer or a hand mixer.
Fold chilled strawberries and chocolate into the whipped cream.
Spoon into glasses, alternating in layers with the chopped strawberries.
Top with additional chopped chocolate and a strawberry. Enjoy!
