Bacon Wrapped Chicken

6 chicken breasts

16 oz package of bacon

1/2 lb asparagus (about 30 spears)

1 Tbs olive oil

1 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Trim Asparagus.
Place asparagus on a plate and roll in olive oil, garlic salt and pepper.
Slice in each chicken breast creating a pouch for asparagus.
Slice into the thickest part of the chicken breast.
Sprinkle salt and pepper on the chicken breasts, if desired.
Stuff 4 to 5 asparagus spears into the chicken.
Top with a slice of onion for extra flavor.
Wrap each chicken breast with 2-3 slices of bacon and
use a toothpick to hold in place.
Place chicken on a large baking pan
Bake for 40 minutes and broil for 3 to 5 minutes to crisp the bacon.
