2.5 pound Smithfield Applewood Bacon Loin Filet
2 bell peppers, red, yellow or orange
1 large onion
8 ounces bacon
1 pineapple
Directions:
Preheat your grill.
Take the Loin out of the package and cut into cubes 3/4 of an inch to an inch in size.
Cut bell peppers and onion into 1 inch pieces.
Dice the bacon into 1 inch sections.
Core and peel the pineapple and cut it into 1 inch cubes.
Alternate the pork, bacon, peppers, onion and pineapple on skewers until all the pieces are used up.
Grill the skewers on your grill for about 20 minutes until the pork is done, turning the skewers once halfway through the cooking time.
Notes
Cooking time might vary depending on your grill.
The pork should reach 145 and the bacon should look done.
If you use wooden skewers you will need to soak them in water for 30 minutes before adding the ingredients to the skewers.
Or just save time and use metal skewers and remember to handle with care because they get hot!
