Pesto Pasta with Chicken


2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

16 oz pasta of your choice

1 cup basil pesto

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup fresh basil, cut into strips

Parmesan cheese

Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Grill chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side.

Slice chicken into strips.

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

Rinse and drain pasta then set aside.

Mix together pesto, pasta and chicken.

Stir to combine and chill.

Stir in tomatoes and basil before serving.

Top with Parmesan cheese.
